With over 30 years in the industry, I am still enjoying every minute. Haircoloring is my passion, and especially the excitement that comes with taking a client into a new shade or correcting color that’s gone wrong.
A woman has a range of colors that work with her skin tone, evolving a client from season to season can give a fresh feeling; it is like evolving your wardrobe from time to time. I would be happy to talk with you about the range of color that best suits you, or how to transition from one color to another, let’s meet!

I’ve had a passion for hair and beauty for as long as I can remember. I studied at Brown Aveda Institute to gain an Advanced Cosmetology license. My primary goal when I’m behind-the-chair is to make my clients look beautiful and feel confident, while embracing the natural aspects and integrity of their hair. I’m committed to ongoing learning, and taking myself to the next level. Vibrant color and Balayage are a few of my favorite services. Let’s work together to achieve your hair goals!

Stylist & Nail Specialist
I can be found in any corner of the salon! From haircuts and color, to manicures and pedicures, I truly love to express my talent through fun nail design and beautiful color services. I am passionate about what I do and love bringing happiness and beauty through the services that I specialize in. When I’m not in the salon, I enjoy spending time with my family and being in the great outdoors.
KATELYN
Nail Specialist
I’m a nail specialist here at Rainbow Room Salon and studied at Brown Aveda Institute for my license in Advanced Manicuring. I’m passionate about all things nails, but have an affinity for sculpted gel manicures and nail art! I also studied studio art at Cleveland State University and can often be found painting or printmaking when I’m not doing nails. My favorite things at Rainbow Room are the supportive team and our amazing clients!
HEATHER YOUNKIN
Jr. Stylist
I’m a recent graduate of The Brown Aveda Institute. I’m passionate about working with curly hair which makes me a perfect fit here at The Rainbow Room.
I love to help others embrace their natural beauty. I’m looking forward to taking my skills to the next level and developing into a world-class stylist. When I’m not behind-the-chair, you can find me playing and coaching volleyball, and spending time with my 3 pooches.

Salon Coordinator
My job as a Salon Coordinator at Rainbow Room has been exciting. Meeting new clients as well as building relationships with current, long-time clients is what makes me love this job. Seeing beautiful, happy, & satisfied faces brings great joy to me.
My favorite part about this role is witnessing the talent and creativity of the stylists behind the chair.

BRENDA
Master Stylist
January 22, 1964 – August 31, 2021
It is with sadness that we share the passing of our friend and colleague, Brenda.
She was a beautiful, strong and talented woman, who could work magic, especially with curly hair. Brenda was one of a handful of stylists in Ohio who had earned the distinction of American Board Certified Colorist, as well as many other cut and color certifications.
She had hundreds of clients who, throughout her illness, kept her close to their hearts, and looked forward to their next appointment with her. They loved her, and she loved them.
Brenda was truly one-of-a-kind, and we will miss her.
